Starting a new school can feel just as overwhelming for parents as it is for their children. With that said, we try to make the buying of school uniform a stress free process as best we can. Below you will find some advice which you may find useful to read before you begin buying your child’s new school uniform. We have over 40 years’ experience in the industry and are more than happy to give you our professional support when it comes to buying your child’s uniform, so be sure to pop into store and ask us any questions you may have.

First and foremost, we suggest you allow plenty of time before the school term to buy all of your child’s school uniform. This will give you plenty of opportunity to sew in name tags, for instance, and ensure you have everything he or she may need rather than rushing at the last minute and risking potentially low stock.

Measure Your Child

You will need to know the correct measurements for your child before you can buy appropriate sized clothing for them. Our staff are fully trained and can usually gauge the size of your child by eye, however you may wish to refer to the helpful sizing guide which may come in handy.

Quantities

The amount of school uniform you should buy entirely depends on your child; how messy are they and how often are you likely to do the laundry?. With regards to accessories such as socks or ties, we tend to recommend parents buy more than one of these because they tend to go missing quite easily.
